Allows the app to manage organization places (conference rooms and room lists) for calendar events and other applications, on behalf of the signed-in user.

Properties

Property Type Description
id string The unique identifier for an entity. Read-only.
geoCoordinates object Specifies the place location in latitude, longitude, and (optionally) altitude coordinates.
parentId stringNullable The ID of a parent place.
label stringNullable User-defined description of the place.
tags array Custom tags that are associated with the place for categorization or filtering.
checkIns microsoft.graph.checkInClaim collection A subresource of a place object that indicates the check-in status of an Outlook calendar event booked at the place.
children microsoft.graph.place collection A collection of children places that is only used in the Upsert places API.
isWheelChairAccessible boolean Indicates whether the place is wheelchair accessible.
address object The physical address of the place, including the street, city, state, country or region, and postal code.
phone stringNullable The phone number of the place.
displayName string The name that is associated with the place.

App Registration

Navigate to Azure Portal

Go to App registrations in Microsoft Entra admin center

Add API Permission

Select your app → API permissions → Add a permission → Microsoft Graph

Select Permission Type

Choose Delegated permissions and search for Place.ReadWrite.All

Grant Admin Consent

This permission requires admin consent. Grant consent in the Azure portal.
